This practice is not only useful as a preparation to death, but also in our daily life. Being ill or tired indicates that one or more of our internal elements are dominating the others, causing blockages, impurities, negative influences and sickness. By recreating the process of death, intermediate state and rebirth, we commit ourselves to making our sicknesses, negative conditions and regrets die. 

 

All the negative experiences of the death process arise because we are creating the causes now. Meditating constantly on the death process, we produce the opposite causes and we assure ourselves of a positive death experience, peaceful and tranquil.
